About

Wyatt Meriwether is a strongman performer, movement educator, choreographer, and competitive Strongman athlete whose work bridges strength sports, dance, martial arts, and circus performance.

A three-time qualifier for United States Strongman Nationals (2022, 2024, and 2025), Wyatt approaches Strongman not only as a competitive discipline, but as a form of embodied performance rooted in virtuosity, control, and intentional movement.

Originally trained in ballet, Wyatt developed proficiency across multiple technical methodologies before expanding into modern and contemporary dance. His movement background also includes training in Flamenco, tap, jazz, hip hop, and Bharatanatyam, alongside martial arts disciplines including Muay Thai, Goju-Ryu Karate, Krav Maga, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Wyatt holds a BA in Dance from University of Kansas. His notable performance credits include Beauregard in Circus Scorpius’s Désolé, Cholesterol Spike in Umbrella Enchanted, the Conquistador in the University Dance Company production of José Limón’s La Malinche under the direction of Sarah Stackhouse, and collaborative performance work with 940 Dance Company and choreographer Joan Stone.

He is currently a junior company member with Circus Scorpius, performing as a circus strongman, dancer, and balance artist.

Wyatt teaches Intro to Modern Dance at Great Plains Circus Center, choreographs for the student circus company Circ S, and teaches Foundations of Flow at Penny Luck Pole Dance.
